Bob Losure showed his versatility in 2008 at London-based JC Bamford Ltd.’s Convention at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas in conjunction with the giant Con-Expo at the Las Vegas Convention Center. He hosted a news conference for 110 media members, emceed the dealer conference for 1200 attendees from around the world, and moderated a question-and-answer session with author Carl Bernstein of the Washington Post. JCB is among the largest construction and earth-moving equipment companies in the world, and has plants from Savannah, Georgia, to Brazil, to India, to Russia.
Bob’s 2008 appearances also included one of the world’s premier pharmaceutical companies, Novartis, and its Sales and Marketing Conference in Pasadena, California. The Swiss-based company rolled out its plans for marketing such popular products as Excedrin and Lamisil, allowing Bob to interview many of the company’s top sales and marketing executives on-stage. Bob even assumed the part of a game-show host on-stage for the company’s version of the network television reality/comedy hit, “Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?”
Live Hosting, either through the internet or via satellite, is also very familiar to Bob. When BellSouth began its long-distance coverage in Louisiana, Bob was at center stage at BellSouth’s Atlanta headquarters to get the full details from the company’s CEO as a satellite teleconference linked the large gathering in Atlanta with the BellSouth contingent in the Bayou state.
